Rastro is an exuberant, happy, goofy, loving playmate, who's favorite activity is to romp with other dogs and people. While he's the best mouser in our house (even better than the three cats), he's also a defender and protector of small mammals, including the tiniest of newborn kittens. Strangely enough, most of his favorite toys are kitty toys, laser light pointers, catnip stuffies, feathered twitchies, mechanical mice, etc. During the winter, Rastro loves to go outside and hang out in the snow, even for naps. But he doesn't ever want to be far from Ruth, whom he has claimed to be his human above all others. When she gets out the walking shoes, he leaps straight into the air, or sideways over her lap, making it hard to put them on! He is DNA-VIP as the offspring of Woodsrunner Duncan and Rainmountain Sebecca. OFA Fair, 80 pounds and still growing, and is looking forward to getting his eyes checked so he can go courting. And he thinks lobsters should be carefully monitored! |
