Rookie is our first dog and Chinook - we can't wait for another! We are convinced that he is the smartest puppy out there. People constantly stop us on our walks and ask his breed and history. We love to talk about him and carry pictures everywhere. Rookie joined Mom, Jen, at school when he was only 9 weeks old. 106 seventh graders were a little intimidating at first, but he soon fit in. He began kayaking at 11 weeks and is now the official mascot at the Police Department where Dad, Brett, works. He loves nothing more than walking at the beach, playing with other dogs, and long snuggles with Mom and Dad. Rookie hopes one day to become a Search and Rescue dog like his mother, Hurricane Hunter, and to have a sibling Chinook to play with.
