Hope you are all well and content under the present pandemic circumstances. We are doing well at Swiss Chinooks. This is an update on our planned breeding happening hopefully end of May 2020 in Switzerland. Both our dogs have completed their medical tests and although I have yet to receive their OFA certificates, both dogs (Manuk and Nana) have ‘normal’ eyes. We are hoping more people will be interested in applying for one of our pups from this planned litter once the travel ban and recommended guidelines have been lifted. We hope to confirm a pregnancy end of June 2020 and welcome any support or referrals in order to find enough forever homes for our pups. Any updates on this planned breeding can be found on our Swiss Chinooks website or on the COA forums. Let’s hope it all works out.
Many thanks and kind regards,
Swiss Chinooks 1st litter planned for mid-November 2020! An ultrasound (24 June 2020) showed that our Nana is not pregnant. Naturally after all our efforts this is not the result we were hoping for but we are patient and persistent so we have planned a breeding with Manuk and Nana for her next heat cycle in mid-November 2020. If all goes to plan, we expect puppies traveling by plane to their forever homes, in-cabin, to be collected at the end of 8 weeks old (estimated to be middle of March 2021). All other puppies are expected to be collected at the end of 10 weeks old (estimated to be the beginning of April 2021), unless exceptional arrangements have been made. Let’s hope this time it works!
