Hurricane Elizabeth in the Rain

Call Name Elizabeth
Bio Elizabeth Ann is one of the most warm-hearted Chinooks I’ve had the opportunity to live with in my thirty years of involvement with the breed. She loves to play and rough house with the best of them but she will also search out the pup that needs more confidence or the shy child to give him or her a play bow. She’s even more beautiful in person than her personality or photos, with the broad head of her dam and grand-sire. She gets more and more gold with each passing year. Her gait is both elegant and efficient, showing great economy of movement. She's well muscled and has the perfect proportions for a Chinook. She's a wonderful mom dog, having given birth to Lightening, a singleton pup (sired by Moonsong Never Cry Wolf) in 2015 and the Irish Revolutionary Litter (sired by BrownStone Cascade Mt. Trask) of four in 2016. We plan to breed her one more time to Frontier Time & Tide (Dylan) in the fall of 2018. Her one fault is that where food is concerned, she needs a 12-step program. Elizabeth has no bottom to her appetite and she has no limits to what she will do to get at food. All manners go out the window when she has her eye on a tasty morsel. She lies, telling me how much she loves me, climbing onto my lap for a supposed cuddle but what she really wants is my dish of ice cream on the end table next to me and she doesn't even act coy about it. At times like this she's not my sweet Elizabeth Ann. No, she's the Lizzard Blizzard. Where Toketie keeps all the dogs ears cleaned, Elizabeth feels it's her job to keep faces washed and whiskers trimmed. this is an especially good method to keep Toketie under control if said Toket tries to push in on Elizabeth's special lap time; Lizzie simply leans over and nibbles the whiskers off whichever side of her face is closest. She also will nibble whatever blanket or sheet I have over my bed, cutting a precise straight line better than I could do with scissors. She is a unique and amusing girl to say the least. Life is never dull with Elizabeth Ann in residence. She is our Queen and we exist to keep her happy.
