Desert Sol Chinooks
Kennel Description | Desert Sol Chinooks (est. 2012) is a small, hobby breeder of Chinooks, a rare American dog from New England originally bred as a sled dog. The Chinook has been described as "the "world's best kept secret" as they are loving, gentle, great for families, have a moderate energy level, are good working dogs, and make excellent companions (everything one could want in a dog!). We are located in Gilbert, Arizona (we know...that's a long ways from any snow), and are committed to responsibly promoting the breed in the southwestern United States. If you or someone you know is interested in a Chinook, please let us know and we can set up a meeting with our Chinook breed ambassador, Kyra. |

1.360 | 240 | TBD | Desert Sol Vitality Aelin Fireheart (Aelin) | TBD | Sadly our recent breeding did not take and we won't have puppies this spring. :( We will try again on her next heat cycle in the fall. We hope to breed Aelin on her next heat cycle in the spring of 2023. Aelin is part of the CBCP program and is 50% Chinook and 50% Bernese Mountain Dog (BMD). She will be bred with a purebred Chinook and the puppies will result in 75% Chinook and 25% BMD and some will be part of the CBCP breeding program to help increase the genetic diversity in the Chinook breed. If interested in a puppy from this litter, please fill out a puppy application on our website: http://www.desertsolchinooks.com/puppy_app.php |
