Desert Sol Chinooks
| Kennel Description | Desert Sol Chinooks (est. 2012) is a small, hobby breeder of Chinooks, a rare American dog from New England originally bred as a sled dog. The Chinook has been described as "the "world's best kept secret" as they are loving, gentle, great for families, have a moderate energy level, are good working dogs, and make excellent companions (everything one could want in a dog!). We are located in Gilbert, Arizona (we know...that's a long ways from any snow), and are committed to responsibly promoting the breed in the southwestern United States. If you or someone you know is interested in a Chinook, please let us know and we can set up a meeting with our Chinook breed ambassador, Kyra. |

| 1.360 | 273 | TBD | Tennessee River Sol Ghost | Wachusett Gulbrun Regis (Baker) | Baker is very healthy and has never had any issues or serious injuries. He is a very gentle boy, great with children, dogs, cats and chickens. He just had his yearly exam and all blood work was great. The vet said he was nicely muscled and a perfect weight. His activity level is probably medium. He runs and romps with the other dogs on walks but is just as happy snuggling up on the couch. Ghost is a very sweet, powerful and active girl. She always knows where her entire pack is and works hard to bring anyone back who strays. She is the smartest dog we have ever had. She is an escape artist. She escapes then releases the other two dogs. She is willful and extremely affectionate. Her health has always been excellent. She can initially be reserved with loud kids but settles quickly. She is friendly with strangers, dogs cats and chickens. Of our 3 Chinooks she is the fastest and most skilled at dodging and leaping. And she thinks my husband walks on water… We are always looking for breed potential homes!
