Chinook Winter Carnival

Chinook Winter Carnival 2019

SAVE THE DATE! February 15-17, the Chinook Winter Carnival is coming to Tamworth Village!

The snow is out and it is time to get together with some of your Chinook pals (and their people) and learn about the history of the Chinook breed. Some of the events are still being finalized, but a brief overview of what you can expect for the weekend is below.

Friday, 2/15
Friday afternoon/evening will include a meet and greet, followed by wine & cheese. After everyone is acquainted, an impromptu dinner will be decided upon by the group and off to bed for a big day Saturday.

Saturday, 2/16
The big day. We'll travel all around Tamworth Village learning about the history of the Chinook. Chinook meet and greets (which may or may not include Chinook kisses) will of course continue. Additional events may be added.

Sunday, 2/17
Nearby Wonalancet has some great dog sledding areas as well as good trails. Stay on for this optional day to experience all that it means to be a sled dog.
