I dont believe she is entitled to a hearing as that is for fraud or misrepresentation.

So this appears to be a very simple matter to expel Carie from the club, lets not let this linger

    re: REALITY and/vs FILM

It USED TO BE, humans felt REALITY came within REAL IMAGES too (stills even, long before MOVING VIDS were public even).
FF to NOW, it SEEMS TO BE, if it’s on ‘film’, it isn’t yet ‘real’ somehow? It ALLOWS others to continue in ‘WISHFUL THINKING’ ‘WHAT IF(s)’ zone(s)? IS THAT PRACTICED IN-security also yet ‘real’, ‘if’…[Read more]

I share Andrew’s concern about just seeing the video and reacting.

    Sarah, ‘just’?

So you too can find means by which to accept this real violence within this real video?

    My continued honest member inquiry.

    respectfully, seb

If Carie did abuse this dog

    Andrew,
‘If’? Can you further explain your own acceptance of the also REAL VIOLENCE within THIS VIDEO yet too? Thank you.

Otherwise, I’m honestly beginning to feel I don’t want to be in a club with you too, not just Ms Taylor. Which only means Jess and others remain essentially correct COA needs to act…[Read more]

    This isn’t ‘what if(s)’ zone.
The ACADEMY & AKC have already acted.
So now it’s time for UKC/COA to act (since Carie left her confession for this club for last, basically).
And for sure there will come no ’embarrassment(s)’ for COA where Carie herself remains UN remorseful, agreed.

Never enable an animal abuser. For any reason. Any time,…[Read more]

Thank you members for this thoughtful discussion. As an update, the COA Board is planning to meet in the beginning of August to allow us time to process all comments. Your discussion will help guide any actions taken against this member. It seems there are two related points that have been discussed: 1) the action to be taken against this member…

I respectfully ask the COA Board to ask Carie to resign in light of this situation. If she refuses, I ask that the Board vote to ban her from the club. I understand the technicalities of the bylaws – they appear to be a bit in conflict – but clearly, the club can refuse membership to a person and that decision has to be made in partnership bet…

I’m not sure Carie should be part of this discourse, since the Academy has already (correctly, imho) dismissed her. So I don’t even believe Carie should be able to read this discourse within COA Membership, let alone defend herself further against it, therefore. For again, clearly (to me), the Academy realized this was an also act of ‘functional…[Read more]

  • It’s a common enough issue but also considered undesirable behavior. It makes more work for the bitch/Dam handler, agreed. It’s easy enough to get thru to tie then thru safe tie, with 2 experienced handlers (dam and stud) to keep both safe & comfy. But that’s only if both dogs’ owners agree to do so, vs lean AI, understood. If you don’t own…[Read more]

  • re: Pets/Companions only
Now that they can become both geno/phenotype ‘ambassadors’, their contribution(s) to the full breadth of their litter(mates) has also increased, thankfully. And to the genome, thereby. So I do hope breeders will continue to Contract for these on the ‘pets’ forward, regardless of whether the breeder or new owner covers…[Read more]
